Possibly the most beautiful country to be in. Above is a shot of the fishing harbour at Essouria. The people are friendly the food is amazing and there is so much to document. Unfortunately I didn't get as many shots as I wanted of design and other interesting stuff but next time and there will be a next time, I'll get more for sure.

Well Done Train People

I'm glad that the train people have found a nicer way to direct people than sticking up signs everywhere uglying up the beautifully ornate station. However this style has been around since forever and quite frankly they should have managed this before 2010 but I'm impressed that some person in the big corporation got a new idea through. well done you.

i love people

I came across this on the subway. I don't know if the clothes had been found or brought or if there was some naked person running amok. It made me smile and laugh and show everyone, and that's the best kind of art I've seen in a long while. Thank you anonymous naked artist.

heinz big soup

Dear Heinz,

I have enjoyed your soups over the past years. As a treat I decided to try Big Soup! I was shocked and appalled by the ratio of potato : soup. How much potato can you put in soup before it is classed as just potato in liquid, because I think you have surpassed the legal requirement. When is Heinz soup not a soup? when it's a potato.

Beautiful dress from Boohoo.com. Got me right out of a wedding dress pickle this weekend. Had to look for a fairly decent picture of me in it before I put it up here, took a while!

a break from tradition

Above left shows the frozen yoghurt parlour from tangysweet in Washington, US. On their site they tell us about a ceiling of woven light creating a sense of openness and interaction in the main space while the more intimate 'yoghurt lounge' provides an area for quiet conversation and retreat. How different from the original ice cream parlours of decades past. I assumed them to be young, bright and loud, encouraging teen flirting and spots. Possibly tangysweet saw a missed opportunity where adults needed a cold, minimalist 'yoghurt lounge' to go and eat pretentious cold fluids in silence whilst nerding on the web. It hardly resembles the joy of inclusion and community like Cheers does it?

Jeans Logo Design

I've been asked to create a logo for a fashion retail company. Hopefully it'll be rolled across clothing and accessories. Very exciting! I started using pencil and not adding colour (alright but just the one colour!) Here are the first sketches.
